What We Believe

The Bible

We believe in the Holy Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, as the infallible and inspired Word of God.

The Trinity

We believe that there is one true God who has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I Am,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of humankind.

The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was and is eternally one with the Father and is the only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death upon the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His present day ministry as our intercessor, and in His personal return in power and glory.

The Fall and Redemption of Mankind

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, as the crowning work of His creation. Because of sin, man is separated from God and is without hope of reconciling himself to a just and holy God through any efforts of his own. Only the grace of God made available to us through Jesus Christ and personally applied to our lives by the Holy Spirit can restore man to live in fellowship with God and to fulfill the purposes for which he was created.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit who guides, convicts, encourages, edifies, sanctifies, and inspires, who manifests Himself through various gifts for the one common good and the furtherance of the gospel.

The Resurrection

We believe in the resurrection of the dead of those who have put their trust and confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ unto life, and those who have rejected the message of the gospel unto eternal separation from God.

The Gospel

We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation. That the gospel message declares that those who fix their hope on the life, death, burial, resurrection and return of the Lord Jesus Christ will not be disappointed. That whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
